Long ownership changes what a good repair looks like
Tiffin owners keep their coaches. It is common to see a fifteen year old Allegro Bus that has been maintained continuously and is genuinely worth investing in, which is a different situation from a fifteen year old volume brand coach.
That changes the repair standard. On a coach the owner intends to keep another decade, the right answer is usually the durable repair rather than the cheap one, and the paint match needs to be right rather than close.
It also means graphic availability becomes the practical constraint. Original schemes on older Allegro coaches are frequently unavailable, and reproducing them is custom work with a custom price. We establish that early rather than discovering it mid job.
Paint matching on a coach that has weathered honestly
A coach stored outdoors in Southern California for a decade has a driver side and a passenger side that no longer match each other, regardless of what the factory code says.
Matching from the code produces a repaired panel that is technically correct and visibly wrong. We spray out against the adjacent panels on the side being repaired and blend outward rather than stopping at a seam.
On a multi stage finish with a complex graphic scheme, carrying the graphic through the blend is most of the skill. Done properly the repair is not findable. Done from a code it is findable from across a parking lot.
Wayfarer and the Sprinter chassis joint
The Wayfarer is a Tiffin house on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, and the notable failures occur where those two structures meet. The cab is stiff and unitized, the house is not, and the joint absorbs the difference for the life of the coach.
Sealant failure and eventual laminate separation along that transition is the pattern. It is repairable and worth catching before water gets involved.
Work at or forward of the cab follows Sprinter repair practice rather than RV practice, including scan and calibration where driver assistance sensors are involved.

Questions we get asked
My Allegro is fifteen years old, is a full paint repair worth it
Often yes on a Tiffin, more so than on a volume brand of the same age, because these coaches are typically maintained continuously and kept for a long time. The practical constraint is usually graphic availability rather than the paint itself. We establish that at the start rather than discovering it mid job.
Why can you not just match my factory paint code
Because a coach stored outdoors in Southern California for a decade no longer matches its own factory code, and the driver side no longer matches the passenger side. A code match produces a panel that is technically correct and visibly wrong. We spray out against your actual panels and blend outward.
Is Wayfarer work different from the rest of the Tiffin line
At and forward of the cab, yes. The Wayfarer is a Tiffin house on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, so that area follows Sprinter repair practice including scan and calibration where driver assistance sensors are involved. The house side follows normal coach practice.
