What we see on Dynamax units
Joint stress where a stiff medium duty chassis meets a coach body with different flex behavior
Cab to house transition sealing and eventual laminate separation
Full body paint weathering by exposure side on units stored outdoors
Front cap stress on long wheelbase Super C units
Slide seal compression on large through frame rooms
Roof transition sealing at the front and rear caps
Basement and compartment alignment on a heavy chassis that settles differently
Model lines we work on: DX3 Super C on Freightliner chassis, Force HD and Force 37, Isata 3, Isata 5 and Isata 7, Europa and Dynaquest XL, Grand Sport and REV.
Medium duty chassis, coach body, and the joints between
A DX3 or a Force puts a coach body on a Freightliner medium duty chassis. That chassis is dramatically stiffer than a standard motorhome chassis, which is why these units tow and drive the way they do.
It also means the house and the chassis move differently over every road input. The attachment points and the cab to house transition absorb that difference continuously.
The predictable result is sealant fatigue at the transition and eventual laminate work behind it. This is not a defect and it is very repairable, provided it is addressed before water gets into the substrate.
Isata units and the Sprinter and Ram chassis side
Isata 3 and Isata 5 sit on Sprinter and Ram chassis, which carry driver assistance sensors behind the front fascia and at the windshield.
Any repair that disturbs those mounting positions requires scan and calibration before the vehicle goes back on the road. That is a safety requirement, not a shop preference.
We handle the chassis side to automotive standard and the house side to RV standard. They are genuinely different disciplines and treating them the same produces a compromise on one of them.
Paint and finish on a high value Super C
Dynamax units carry full body paint with detailed schemes, and the refinish is usually the largest cost driver on any exterior repair, ahead of the structural work.
Matching from a factory code on a vehicle that has weathered outdoors produces a panel that reads as new against years of aged paint. We spray out against your actual adjacent panels and blend outward.
Carrying the graphic transitions through the blend is where the skill sits. Done properly the repair is not findable. Done from a code it is obvious from a distance.

Questions we get asked
Why does my DX3 crack near the cab
A Freightliner medium duty chassis is dramatically stiffer than a standard motorhome chassis, so the house and the chassis move differently over every road input. The cab to house transition absorbs that difference continuously. It is very repairable provided it is caught before water reaches the substrate.
Does my Isata need calibration after a front end repair
Yes. Sprinter and Ram chassis carry driver assistance sensors behind the fascia and at the windshield, and any repair disturbing their mounting requires scan and calibration before the vehicle returns to the road. That is a safety requirement rather than a shop preference.
Why is refinish the biggest cost on my estimate
Full body paint with a detailed scheme has to be sprayed out against your actual weathered panels, blended across neighbors, and have the graphics carried through the blend. On a high value Super C that exceeds the structural work underneath on most jobs. A code match would read as new against years of aged paint.
