Aluminum is a different repair discipline than steel

The symptom is usually a fastener that starts to weep a white powder or a mounting point that loosens repeatedly no matter how many times it is tightened. That second one is the more common complaint and it is frequently misread as a fastener problem.
Correcting it means isolating the dissimilar metals rather than just replacing the hardware. Otherwise the same joint loosens again on the same schedule.
